well, this picture had a surprising outcome. i first intended it to be a happy scene with kirby and the gang just hanging out, the pink puffball himself splashingin the pond no one seems to ever notice, along with bun. meta knigth was going to be lounging on the ourcrop, forta and fumu jus talking. then, when drawing meta knight, i ended up making his face tilted upwards, as if watching in apprehension. then an idea for a darker, gloomier picture came to mind, and this happened. it could be the base of the cover for A Recurring Nighmare, but i dunno. the grass came out pretty bad, and i had no idea how to draw water with ripples in it, so heres the result. i also made a small poem to go along with the scene:

Traveler take heed if you see the sky darken,
a slight tinge from the heavens,
Should the wind howl, please harken.
Black life is coming with rage in its heart,
should sky bleed red,
be quick to depart.

please note, i made that up on the spot ;)

Just amazing! not only did you do all of the characters in the scene correct with emotion (unsure for your OC but everyone else), the colors and motion of the picture is just beautiful. Personally I think you did the grass an the waves of the pond perfectly. if you did this with your comic I think your comic would turn out a bit better :3. is adding to favorites cause I love it!

I love this picture. You made them look (even Kirby) like something was worth waiting for. Like a total tension was filling the air, yet they didn't know what it was that was causing it. Even Forta has a curious expression.

With Meta Knight just looking straight up you get the impression he either s what's going on, or he thinks he does and he's worried.

im glad you like it :) i tried giving it that tense atmosphere, like the world is changing too quickly for anyone to comprehend it. and those who do understand can only watch and weep. course meta knight is to awesome for anything as lowly as giving up ;)

And everyone else (Except Kirby) Will find out soon enough.

I have a question though. (Two actually)

One is do you mind fanart? There's a funny story behind that if you're interested. Otherwise I'll keep it to myself.

And the second is, does this concern your story?

no, i do not mind fanart. and i like funnny-ish stories.

this picture is representing a part in my story. the sky will turn grey/red at some point, but i doubt they will be around kirby's house when it happens.

YES!! I was dearly hoping you would say that. (About the fan art not the story)
Alright well the story goes like this. I was in my math class, and was really bored... So I pulled out an extra comp book and started doodling. Well in a couple minutes I had drawn a iffy looking picture of MK and it looked like something was missing so I kept doodling.
By the end of math class... Nah... I won't tell you yet^^

And Yay! I can't wait^^
