IM BACK IN BUSINESS, BABY!
well, for now at least. BUT BAND IS FINALLY OVER, WOOOOO! after a 16 hour day, of course.
wow, it feels like its been forever since I drew meta knight, forta, and fumu. (the Halloween pic don't count, I drew that in the beginning of October).
im getting so tired of drawing the night sky. at least now I can do an easy, nightmarish background for the next page or so.
and in case it wasn't clear enough, forta sees the pink haired girl, but at the same time she hears what fumu is saying.
im glad you like my art, thank you very much!
im so sorry dude.
what do you mean? like, is something wrong?
oh, really? how is that working out for you? is there any difference between it and the 3DS, besides then obvious?
ah man, sorry has no one else been on lately?
huh, sounds almost like a Gameboy design. are you enjoying it?
sports are a big thing as well, only our football team is terrible, so no one wants to get so much into the mood.
Unlike usual, not really going to dwell into criticism of the art but rather, will go on about the plot.
On one hand, it is an interesting question as to how Forta's world vanished (most probably had to do with Zero and the current crisis)... on another hand, I am starting to fear that Forta may end up soaking up attention and stealing the spotlight, relegating Kirby to the background. An awful lot of the plot has been about Forta and her amnesia with no mentions of the actual plot for the comic (Zero and the Dark Matters).
Frankly? Although Forta is a powerful character and was pretty interesting in revealing the Dark Matter threat, I'd see her as more of a crutch ; her anger issues + ease of being possessed even if no direct Dark Matter is performed means that she won't excuse Kirby of having to grow into the hero who can stop Zero.
Basically, I may sound weird but I'd like to see more of the cast and more of the plot being actual events rather than more Forta flashback speculation (unless relevent, which I feel is increasingly not as such).
I wanted at first to have the story revolve around Kirby and meta knight, with forta, fumu, and bun as supporting characters, but i couldn't instantly put in development for Kirby, as he will gradually start to *cough* sorry, spoilers, and i didn't want to focus solely on meta knight in the first part of the story. so now im having the main light on Kirby, meta knight, and forta. the focus will be revolving between them, with forta as the catalyst to all of the events and a stepping stone into the next phases of the story. that said, i have no experience in story writing, which may be why everything may be becoming less interesting.
What I'm saying is that you've spent a lot of pages on Forta non-stop and I think it's time you think of a way to shift the focus back to Kirby and the main cast. Kirby, in particular, suffer from being under-developed in the anime continuity.
Again, Forta *is* interesting... but be wary of making her steal the spotlight too much. I feel she had enough pages in a row about her ; give the other characters an opportunity to shine, to do something, to contribute.
yeah... again, its my lack of experience that is causing this, what is the word, unnecessary attention on forta. she has started to look like one of those typical insane demon OCs due to my poor choices, and im worried to death that people may start shipping her with meta knight as some of my future plans involve the two of them. but I hope that with time, my storytelling skills will improve, emphasize on "hope."
and thank you for the feedback
